Narrated Cruise to Blake Island
When you purchase a complete Tillicum Village Dining experience, you are not only introduced to the culture of local tribes on Blake Island, but you get a touch of history and fabulous views on the 45-minute boat ride en route to Tillicum. You begin your journey from Pier 55 on the Seattle Central waterfront, where you’ll cross Elliott Bay, and cruise into the open sound on your way to Blake Island. A line drawn from Alki Point in the south to West Point in the north serves to generally mark the division between the bay and the open sound.
Your Cruise Director will point out some basic facts during a live narration - including highlights about Puget Sound waterways, the tribes that lived along the shores of the region and some fun facts about Blake Island. While on board wander around the boat, enjoy a beverage or snack from the bar or just enjoy keeping your eye out for marine animals and birds that call this area home.
